I designed this piece for the 2012 Winter X Games in Aspen. ESPN was about to launch the new SSX snowboarder game, and for exposure they wanted all of the competitors to launch into the SuperPipe from this throne.

It was created using 30 layers of 1/2 inch plexiglass, and featured a proprietary surface treatment that resembled ice.

Thanks to ESPN, SSX, and Shaun White who sat upon the throne before scoring a perfect 100.
